The cream babies are growing well. I have been feeding them all sorts of things from egg toufu to wheat grass to marks and spencer cereals. There are 2 boys and 3 girls in the litter. They are still pretty young but the I can see the boys are growing a bit more fur than the girls already. At such a young age, that is always a good sign. There is one with a nice head. I have to keep them with me longer to see how the rest grows. Their dad is such a gorgeous syrian. I hope they grow up like their dad. Their mom, although small in size comes from good lines.This is the first time I'm breeding the 2 lines which i never breed together. I really hope it yields nice looking syrians.

Their mom is from my silver grey/sable roan lines (good head and fur)

But i know 2 good quality parents might not give me the babies i desire but nonetheless, they are cute and I will prolly keep them. Now I've started my breeding program. I must breed out pure creams then continue with the rest. No point mixing and matching and then cross my fingers and pray the colours i hope for comes out. Throughout the years, i've learnt the hard way. Have to always go back to the basic.

My plan is to breed creams now. Ive decided not to continue with my sables unless i find a really solid one with strong colour.(as in really black sable). After my creams comes my torts and tris. I have mated my black tort with my cinnmon and she gave me 4 babies 2 days ago which I am really happy. I can see one with red eye. I hope its a dove tort or a cinnamon tort.

They syrian babies have opened their eyes today. mightly pleased with that!
The gerbil babes have yet to follow suit. Anna, the lady to gave me basil and parsley told me gerbil babies open their eyes much later than hams so I got to be patient and wait and wait and wait...

Have been busy with work, farm and louis's dogs.
Patra is on heat and Nap is confined to the kitchen so I will try to take him out for walks when louis is away at work. Poor louis, his work sucks. The working hours are long, his superior is an idiot and the co-workers are more hardworking than him. But at least he gets a hell lot of monies at the end of the month. :)

Yesterday is Nap's first bday and I got him a small mango cake, 2 shirts, 1 pack of treats and 1 toy! Hope he likes them!

Cloe is about to whelp sooon and i hope it wont be when i am there. I wont know how to do anything. i will prolly get all flustered like hell and do stupid things. '

I hope to watch lord of the rings tomorrow. *cross fingers*

but damn, i got to work tomorrow at 10am. sian-ness!
