Went to a *super library yesterday at woodlands civic plaza to look for my victorian romance novels. (aiyer, a girl is entilted to fantasize a bit once in a while). When i reached there, i dashed to the non fiction section and started competeing with other girls for the books. There's this young girl dressed in her IJ uniform , also glancing quickly at the same shelf as i was.. Then! i saw my judith mcnaught books and started taking them, then! she also saw another and quickly took it.. shit! need to check my reflexes already! In the end, i started grumbling like mad cos i only managed to borrow 2..

A few hours later, me and fluffie were still stuck at the library becos i didn't wanna give up looking. He would find her harry potter books although the catalog says there are like some copies 'not on loan'. We were like duracell bunnies "NEVER SAY DIE' . After a bit, we heard an announcement saying we could go to the 'AMAZON ROOM' to watch AMAZING RACE. I ran there and watched the entire thing. After tht, we continued searching for our books, I finally found 6 judith mcnaught books (persistance pays!) but one IC can only borrow 4. So i had to make a TOUGH decision about the last book and had to bug fluffie to borrow one for me. Anyway I finished reading one book last night already so i can safely return it and not hear fluffie nagging 'aiya what if the book overdue... aiya wht if u lose it...aiya dun want laaaaa' once again (persistance prevails!)

Anyway the library was fab and I could easily hang out there everyday morning till night. Theres a music lounge with free music and magazine and sofas. The crowd there leaves much to be desired though. come on.. woodlands pple.. you could behave much better than that,... haa

We left around 8pm and thought we took the wrong bus home..becos i insisted thts the right one.. but it was. *phew. If not, fluffie's wrath would be devastating! *think armageddon* hahaaaa

Ok, am expecting mag cos shes going compass point to have her hair cut. Will have fun playing sims and talking about romance novels. (yes! i got mag into it! yay!)

*super = a 4 STOREY library which has EVERYTHING and i mean EVERYTHING. (rude, loud librarians included)

Went to clarke quay last night for some local bands gig. The first band named E.P.I.C sounded excatly like their name. Very mat but not mat rock. Very mat guns n roses but all of em were chinese. Their music was very boring and monotonous. The vocalist has buck teeth and I dunno if he had braces on. Was shining into my eye the whole night, making me half blind.

The second band called Steel City Skies which jassica remarked sounded like some suede song. hehe. She also commented that the rhythm guitar was out of tune. But everything was drowned out by all the instruments. This was the band we came to see and hear. Not my cup of tea either. Not as bad as the first and last band, LEVEE (pronunced in *indian accent*). YES! they are all indians. At first when i read the review online, it says LEVEE is a cover band playing a mix of THE WHO and RAMONES..
me and mag thought 'wah punk band, sure very interesting.. got tight pants and all' then it turned out to be some indians in their mid life crisis playing. aiyo i tell u. The keyboardist was a killer, kept playing the same chord again and again. *its still in my head (screams.)* Hes like a playing a seperate set from the band. Him playing his own song, the rest playing another. Ultimate killer!

Daryl wanted to leave b4 they even finished the first song. I said 'ok la give them another chance'. When the 2nd song started i said 'ok that's it, lets go!'. So we all went out and go home. I feel like I'm in little india on some bangladashi night. eeek!

I ordered vodlka ribena and it tastes like RIBENA ONLY. tamade! cheaterbug!!!!! mag ordered fries and they took forever to come and it wasnt hot. leeeeeer...

I also met someone i keep bumping into every now n then but never said hi and he was a friend of my classmate since sec 2! hahaha. I kept seeing him outside fluffies house's coffeeshop but I didnt know it was him until last night. HAHAA what a small world..

Weirdest part was we were all very awkard and keep repeating the same questions. HAHAHA and he keeps calling me '...babe'..babe..' if it was robin, i would have thought i was a pig. Maybe thts wht he meant! hahaaaa aiya.. anyway once in a while, its always nice to see old faces. pigs or not.
